How To Apply For Membership

Our annual dues are $50.00 (Cdn) per year (CASH ONLY).  A prospective member must complete a "Verification of Single-Parent Status" form (provided by PWP at orientation) to verify eligibility.

The "Verification of Single-Parent Status" form will ask for:

the name and mailing address of a professional reference who has personal knowledge of the applicant.  This could be a:

doctor, lawyer, counselor, clergy, school principal, teacher, Professional Engineer, social worker, registered nurse, etc.

Or...

the name of an active PWP member in good standing

Hamilton will then contact this reference directly, to verify single-parent status.

Membership entitles you to the following and more:

	attend meetings to any PWP Chapter Internationally,
	attend discussion groups and activities to any PWP Chapter Internationally,
	enter the "Members Only" area of the websites (Hamilton and International),
	a subscription to "Single Parents" magazine,
	be included in the "News Distribution List" emails,
	Hamilton Chapter newsletters and access to other Chapter newsletters,
	be able to vote and / or run for office (Hamilton, Canadian Zone J or International)
	apply for PWP scholarships for your child,
	enter your children's creative efforts in the annual Family Individual Talent "Award Program",
	go on Chapter, Regional and International group excursions,
	be able to attend workshops at the Canadian and International Conferences,
	have your children's PWP Hamilton activities subsidized when funds are available.
